My image that I made was a logo from one of my favorite Japanese Anime. As is easy to see, the show is called "Demon Slayer". My logo was a bit different, my final product has no grey outside and it was replaced with only white. I also had to get rid of the Japanese at the bottom because it was too small on my finished product. The colors are a little off center and there are some gaps.
I first put the file in Illustrator, then I separated all the colors into their own separate files. I only had to get say the red, then delete the white and black and then Save that file, then Ctrl + Z to get the other colors back. Rinse and Repeat for the other colors. Except for white where I made a white square for my other two colors to sit on.

Stupidly I didn't take a photo of my files in the cutter prep or the vinyl in the cutter. So I don't have any images to share, but I did finish my vinyl and I am proud of how it looks. I also didn't take any images of me putting the decal together.
Wrap up
After I finished my decal, I realized that this had been a much more complicated than I originally thought. All of the steps needed to get a simple bit of vinyl on something was impressive. I was thinking that I could just have the cutter cut the finished product. I later learned that it was only possible to cut individual colors. After all parts are cut, the aligning of those colors on top of each other is even more difficult.
