Inventor
For 3D printing or any other task involving virtual models, a modeling website is needed. A modeling website is a place where you can create 3D models from the ground up. Inventor™ works in a way of 2D modeling, then turning it into 3D modeling. Then it goes to the printer which makes the computer model into a real thing.
This is a 3D model I created in Tinkercad™ which is a different software and doesn't operate the same way as Inventor™.
This is a drawn image on isometric graph paper. The isometric graph paper allows a 2D image to appear 3D and give correct measurements.
After creating the 3D models I had to put them into a software that would translate the model into something the printer could understand. In class we used MakerBot printers it's corresponding software. However, for my personal prints I used Ultimaker Cura for my software and I use and Ender 3 printer from Sain Smart.
